This week we continue our exploration of yoga therapy tools to restore mental/emotional balance after long periods of stress.
We'll have a very simple, deep, and fulfilling practice from our chairs: movement to reduce the stress and pain you're carrying in your upper back neck and shoulders and a specialized pranayama technique for dumping stress and agitation.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide an experience for you to 1) become aware of the mental/emotional holding patterns that are leading to your discomfort and 2) foster a deeper acceptance, trust, and relationship between you and the Odyssey of your own precious life.
After years of suffering from cyclical depression, PTSD, autoimmune disorders and searching out self-directed somatic healing, I discovered that yoga was more than just yoga. Yoga therapy is a holistic healthcare science that provides healing in many areas of life and helps to find meaning in the areas that can't be healed - but can be managed.
